Data recording medium comprises a base, one side of which has a thermographic coat containing a reagent and coreagent forming a colored substance when heated, whilst the other side accepts ink-jet printing. An Independent claim is also included for a material comprising a laminate of (i) a base with a coat accepting ink-jet printing and (ii) a base with the thermographic coat.
