PURPOSE: A solenoid valve is provided to improve the performance of the valve, to reduce the production cost by reducing the length of processing, and to improve work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve includes an upper body(1) having an inlet port(1a) and an outlet port(1b), a core(3) forming a space portion and a core wing(3b) coupled to a case(7), a rod body(2) disposed in a through hole of the core, a bobbin(6) winding a coil producing magnetomotive force to operate a plunger(4), and the case covering the outside of the bobbin. The rod body comprises an upper rod(2c), disposed in the through hole, controlling flow of fluid and a lower rod(2e), connected at the lower end of the upper rod. The lower end portion of the lower rod is inserted into a through hole(4b) of the plunger disposed at the bottom of the core. The rod body composed of the core, core wing, and the upper and lower rod is formed into an integrated shape by single processing. Therefore, the number of parts is reduced and the production cost is reduced.
