A biological information measurement system comprising (1) a measurement instrument terminal (1) having a measurement unit (2) for measuring biological information, adapter (6) for acquiring the telephone number for identifying a portable telephone (7) from the portable telephone (7), and a transmitting/receiving means (11) for outputting the biological information and the telephone number both related to each other, (2) the portable telephone (7) holding the telephone number for identifying the user, and (3) a processing center (8) having a database containing the name of the user using the portable telephone (7) and the telephone number related to the name of the user, a storage means (10) where the biological information on each user sent from the measurement instrument terminal (1), and a processing means (9) for identifying the user of the portable telephone (7) on the basis of the telephone number and the database.
