The pot has a body (3) with a circular ring (6) surrounding a mouth (5) and outer relief patterns (7) for fixing a lid (2). The body has, adjacent to the ring, a circular bump (8) with an outer diameter (d) greater than that of an outer envelope of the patterns. The bump has a wider part (9) moving away from the ring, a cylindrical part (10), and a narrow part (11) connected to a nominal outer surface (14) of the body. An independent claim is also included for a package for food products, comprising a pot in moldable material and a lid.
