PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus or the like for outputting image data while being adaptive to requirement specifications by an output destination. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with: an image forming engine section 15 for outputting image data subjected to image processing; a facsimile I/F section 58; a network I/F section 60; a ROM 42 for storing in advance a plurality of requirement specification data each representing specifications being requirements on image data in response to each output destination; a scanner 11, the facsimile I/F section 58, a storage medium I/F section 52 for acquiring the image data; an attribute data generating section 62 for generating original specification data denoting the specification of the acquired image data; and a CPU 40 that controls an image processing section 64 for applying the image processing to the image data in a way that the image data acquires the specification claimed by the requirement specification data on the basis of the requirement specification data in response to the original specification data and the output destination.
