PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing/listening guide apparatus for informing a user about viewing and listening of a broadcast at a time zone of the broadcast which the user frequently views and listens to. SOLUTION: A controller 7 acquires a date, a day of the week, and a time from a time measuring unit 4 by each prescribed time, and reads the value of a number of viewing/listening times counter corresponding to each channel at time zones before and after the time of the day of the week at the date from a data storage unit 6. When there is the prescribed value or more of viewing/listening times counter, the controller 7 discriminates that a broadcast of a channel corresponding to the count at the time zone before and after the time of the day of the week at the date is a broadcast frequently viewed and listened to by the user, generates guide image data and guide audio data, outputs the data to an on-vehicle television receiver A so as to inform the user about it.
