PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication service providing system capable of flexibly changing services depending on a registered state of the presence of each user. SOLUTION: Both a content server 301 and user terminals 100a, 100b are provided respectively with session management portions 302, 101a, 101b which manage sessions for mutually connecting them. In addition, presences representing whether or not entrances of the user terminal 100a, 100b are made, are managed as presence information 205 by a presence server 204 by registered states from the management portions 101a, 101b.
