PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal coupling device for electric power line carrier communication which reduces a radiated electromagnetic wave without worsening transmission characteristics of a signal transmitted on the electric power line. SOLUTION: The signal coupling device, which is used for the electric power line carrier communication which carries out communication of a high frequency signal making a coaxial cable which is the electric power line as a transmission line, includes a magnetic core which is arranged so that it passes the coaxial cable in an opening part, and electromagnetically inputs/takes out the high frequency signal for a center conductor of the coaxial cable, and at least 2 grounded wires which are connected to different points of a shield conductor of the coaxial cable, pass between the magnetic core and the coaxial cable, and are grounded.
