METHOD OF INDICATING FUEL QUANTITY IN VEHICLE

A fuel amount display method for a vehicle is provided to make a driver expect an accurate DTE(Distance To Empty) because a needle speed of a fuel meter board is controlled based on the corrected total fuel injection amount and the total fuel injection amount before correction. A fuel amount display method for a vehicle comprises the steps of: a step(S110) which obtains an initial fuel quantity value filled in a fuel tank; a step(S120) which obtains a total fuel injection amount value and a remaining fuel amount value by measuring the fuel injection amount injected to the engine during driving; a step(S130) which corrects the total fuel injection amount value by measuring the total fuel injection amount value and the remaining fuel amount value in a constant time interval; and a step(S140) which indicates the value taking the corrected total fuel injection amount value out of the initial fuel amount value on the fuel meter board.
