<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new neuroglial cell proliferation promoter effective for prophylaxis or treatment of FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome), Rett syndrome, various neurologic diseases, etc., associated with reduction of neuroglial cells and derived from the nature. <P>SOLUTION: The neuroglial cell proliferation promoter is characterized as comprising a fat-soluble extract component derived from Fuscoporia obliqua as an active ingredient.
