PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency converter with a reduced circuit scale and improved easiness of circuit maintenance.SOLUTION: From a sine wave table (sinθ table) for outputting a value for each phase of a sine wave, two values respectively corresponding to two mutually orthogonal rotating positive phase and quadrature phase and a value corresponding to an opposite phase are selected. A frequency of a first input signal is converted by using the positive phase and the quadrature phase. A frequency of a second input signal is converted by using the quadrature phase and the opposite phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
