<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify the stagnating/staying position of a recording material in an apparatus and then clarify the method for removing the recording material. <P>SOLUTION: When an abnormal state occurs, this state is displayed on a display window of a display part arranged in a front face or an end face of the apparatus by light flickering, a lighting color or a flickering state, or lighting and a flickering position. The display position is arranged in the vicinity of an operation part or on an operation component. When the operation component is operated, a warning signal is released, and output of a signal output part is made different from that for warning.
