PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter device which has a groove for dropping an adhesive to the outside of a cutting range of a cutter blade cutting a medium having a rear surface with the adhesive, and a printer having the same.SOLUTION: A cutter device comprises: a conveyance mechanism which conveys a medium in which an adhesive surface is provided on the rear surface; a stationary blade which has an edge; a movable blade which has an edge; a movement mechanism which moves the movable blade toward the stationary blade; a housing which stores the stationary blade, the movable blade, and the movement mechanism; and a groove which is an inner surface facing the blade of the counterpart of at least one of the stationary blade and the movable blade, and provided on the outside of the conveyance width direction range of the medium conveyed by the conveyance mechanism on the terminal part side of the cutting direction of the medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
