<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a vehicle capable of reducing the electric power consumption of an occupant side device. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system for the vehicle comprises: helmet side radio communication equipment 30A, 30B, and in-vehicle communication equipment 20. The helmet side radio communication equipment 30A, 30B comprise: an information processing device for accepting an input of a voice signal from a microphone 33 and detecting a speech section in its voice signal; and a radio transmission unit for transmitting the voice signal to the in-vehicle communication equipment 20. The helmet side radio communication equipment 30A, 30B receive mode control instructions from the in-vehicle communication equipment 20, and makes the radio transmission unit in an active mode as long as the speech section is detected. The vehicle 1 is provided with control switches 13A, 13B for a driver and passengers. The in-vehicle communication equipment 20 transmits the mode control instruction to the corresponding helmet side radio communication equipment 30A, 30B in response to operations of the control switches 13A, 13B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
