PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting fluid ejection apparatus capable of automatically setting a movable range of a nozzle, without interference of the nozzle with an obstacle such as internal wiring, etc., independently of an installation environment to a machine tool, in the cutting fluid ejection apparatus of a movable nozzle-type.SOLUTION: A cutting fluid ejection apparatus includes: a nozzle 3 for ejecting a cutting fluid; a stepping motor 2 for rotating the nozzle in order to change orientation of the nozzle for ejecting the cutting fluid; determination means 43 for determining whether a driving signal of the stepping motor is changed, when the nozzle is made movable throughout a movable range, while the cutting fluid ejection apparatus is installed; and movable endpoint memory means 45 for storing the number of counts immediately before the number of counts of the driving signal as the movable endpoint of the nozzle, when determined that the driving signal is changed by the determination means. Also, motor drive control means 41 is provided which controls the movable range of the nozzle so that the nozzle may not be driven across the movable endpoint of the nozzle stored by the movable endpoint memory means. |
