A high temperature oxidation resistant boron carbide thin film has a structure that a boron carbide layer and a silicon carbide layer are alternately and repeatedly laminated. Therefore, high temperature oxidation resistant properties of the boron carbide thin film is improved to be used for a coating material of a wear resistance tool such as a cutting tool or the like.
