The present invention provides a technology for receiving and converging broadcast standards broadcasted through heterogeneous networks according to a receiving condition, to provide a broadcast screen to a user. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for receiving converged broadcast through a portable terminal comprises: a data receiving unit including a plurality of receiving modules provided to receive standard broadcast signal data or digital data through at least two heterogeneous networks or an incoming network of standard broadcast signal data; a data identification unit connected to the data receiving unit to identify type of the standard broadcast signal data or the digital data corresponding to each receiving module among the plurality of receiving modules included in the data receiving unit; and a broadcast content generation unit converging at least one standard broadcast signal data or the digital data identified through the data identification unit and received through at least one receiving module, so as to generate convergence content combined with broadcast-related contents included in the standard broadcast signal data or the digital data, and controlling the convergence contents such that the convergence contents are output through an output unit of a user terminal. |
