PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, while a structure using a superconductive material and a plurality of antenna structures is known for oscillation of terahertz waves, the manufacturing of the apparatus requires accuracy and is difficult.SOLUTION: The terahertz oscillation element oscillates a terahertz wave from a semiconductor of an antenna shape when ultraviolet laser is irradiated through a graphene nano-ribbon film, having a micron order length, provided on a semiconductor exhibiting photoconductivity by coating, pasting, or imprinting, ultraviolet light intensity is modulated with a terahertz frequency, and current flowing in the semiconductor is modulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
