PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material capable of printing and erasing an image having clear contrast and having less change in a surface condition due to repeated printing and erasure and good receptivity of a printing ink.SOLUTION: There is provided a reversible thermosensitive recording material which comprises, on a support, a reversible thermosensitive recording layer containing a dye precursor which is usually colorless or light colored and a reversible color developer for forming a relatively color-developed state and a color-faded state due to difference of heating temperature and/or cooling speed after heating and in the reversible thermosensitive recording material in which a protective layer is provided on the reversible thermosensitive recording layer, and spherical silica having an average particle diameter of 0.8 μm or more and 15 μm or less, a specific surface area of 100 m/g or more and 800 m/g or less and an oil absorption of 80 ml/100 g or more and 400 ml/100 g or less in the protective layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
