A communication device (100) is provided with a plurality of communication apparatuses (103-1, 103-2) for sending data using mutually different transmission schemes, a route selector (101) for searching for an optimum communication route and indicating that data be sent from the communication apparatus corresponding to the optimum communication route, and a conversion and allocation apparatus (102) for converting data to a format corresponding to the transmission scheme of the optimum communication route and outputting the converted data to the communication apparatus indicated by the route selector (101), the communication apparatus corresponding to the optimum communication route sending the converted data. When communicating using an optimum communication route from among a plurality of transmission schemes, it is possible to perform communication even when an application does not support the data format or protocol of the optimum communication route. |
