A projector apparatus comprising: a video projector that projects a video; a first illuminator and a second illuminator that irradiate illumination light from different positions onto an operation surface at least part of which overlaps a surface on which the video is projected by the video projector; a camera that captures, together with a plurality of fingers of a user, at least part of the operation surface onto which the illumination light has been irradiated; and a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to execute: a shadow detection unit that, on the basis of a captured image obtained by the camera, detects a first shadow of the plurality of fingers of the user produced by the first illuminator and a second shadow of the plurality of fingers of the user produced by the second illuminator, anda touch point detection unit that, on the basis of the first shadow and the second shadow extracted, detects tough points of the plurality of fingers of the user on the operation surface, wherein the first illuminator and the second illuminator are arranged in parallel to the operation surface, and temporally alternate illuminating the illumination light, wherein the shadow detection unit detects the first shadow and the second shadow separately by temporally alternating detecting the alternating illumination light of the first illuminator and the second illuminator, including when the first shadow of one of the fingers of the user and the second shadow of another one of the fingers of the user are overlapped, wherein the touch point detection unit detects a respective touch point of each of the fingers of the user.
