In order to prevent or reduce vibration occurring between a housing and an electromagnetic clutch for a gas compressor, an electromagnetic clutch (80) is equipped with a coil housing (86) having a coil case (84) formed in an annular shape, and a flange plate (85) joined to the coil case (84) and extending to the inside in the radial direction, with the periphery of the inner circumferential end part, that is, a hole (85c), being affixed to a housing (10) of a compressor (100). The coil housing (86) makes contact with a seating surface (12d) formed on a front head (12), said contact being at a joined section (85e (85f)) and an inner circumferential section (85d) which is the periphery of the hole (85c), said sections being on the surface (85b) opposite the surface (85a) of the flange plate (85) to which the coil case (84) is joined. Protrusions (85f) are formed at the periphery of the joined section (85e).
