This user position detection device is provided with: a plurality of force sensors disposed at a plurality of positions on a bed bottom of a bed to detect loads at the respective positions as load signals; a computation unit that computes the position of the center of gravity of the loads acting on the bed bottom on the basis of the positions of the force sensors and the load signals; a biological information data acquisition unit that subjects the load signals detected by the force sensors to frequency analysis to acquire biological information data representing biological information of a user; and a user detection unit that detects the position of the user on the bed on the basis of the position of the center of gravity when the biological information data has been acquired. This makes it possible to detect whether the user is present on the bed and the position of the user on the bed with a low cost of equipment such as sensors.
