PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for generating a seamless image at a region of a low luminance level.

SOLUTION: An image projected from an image projection devices 104A-104D is divided into an effective image region for displaying image data and an ineffective image region displaying no image data. A region surrounded by the boundary line of the effective image region and the boundary line of the ineffective image region is adopted as a correction unit image region. Correction data to be applied to a region of a low luminance level are created for each correction unit image region. Then, it is combined with a correction data to be applied to a region of a comparatively high luminance level computed separately.
