PURPOSE:To improve operability by sequentially updating numbers to the most significant digit part whenever a signal from a count key for the most significant digit part is inputted, displaying them, and displaying a blank in digit parts except the least significant digit part when a power source is turned on or a clear key is switched on. CONSTITUTION:An operational part 21 is provided with a code display part 24 where two-digit parts 22 and 23 are arranged, count-up keys 25 and 26 provided for respective digit parts, the clear key 27 and a copy button 28. A microcomputer 30 displays '0' in the least significant digit part 23 when the power source is turned on, and outputs a signal which sequentially updates numbers from 0 to 9 whenever the signal from the count-up key 26 is inputted and displays them. The microcomputer 30 repeats the cycle that sequentially updates numbers from 0 to 9 and displays them in the most significant digit part 22 whenever a signal from the count-up key 25 for the most significant digit part is inputted. When the power source is turned on or the clear key 27 is switched on, a blank is displayed on the digit part 22 except the least significant digit part 23. Thus, operability is improved. |
