Rubber elastic sealing ring for sealing an annular gap between a wall opening in a vehicle tyre rim and a housing for a tyre pressure sensor in which the sealing ring in the region of the annular gap has a short cylindrical section and is axially held. The sealing ring (8) has a convex bulge (10) at the circumferential wall (9') of the short cylindrical section (9) which presses against an approximately cylindrical region on the circumference wall of the housing (6) and on the opposite wall opening (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - An arrangement for creating a reliable and above all durable seal for a tyre pressure sensor housing.
