Air is drawn through lateral openings (2) into an O2 mask (1) equipped with a connection (3) for one end (5) of an adaptor (4). The other end (6) accepts a miniature high-voltage generator (7) incorporating an electrode (15) of length such that its tip (20) protrudes through the connection (3) into the mask (1). The replaceable tip (20) is mfd. pref. of approximately pure vitreous C and is fitted into a metallic sleeve (16) with an insulating coating (18). USE/ADVANTAGE - For therapeutic or cleansing mixt. of O2 with air, liq. medicaments or water, high efficiency is obtd. with comparatively low complexity and cost.
