PURPOSE: To obtain a proper ringing sound volume without performing complex operations by providing a control means setting a ringing sound volume in accordance with the noise level stored by a storage means and making it ring when a ringing trigger is applied. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor CPU 10 performs various operations, logical judgements, etc., for an in-coming ringing, a RAM 14 is a writable, random access memory and is used for the temporary storage of various kinds of data from respective structural elements and in which the level of a surrounding noise is stored. An audio controller 24 controls the input of the surrounding noise and ringings. Then, since the ringing sound volume is automatically set in accordance with the noise level of a surrounding noise in this device and this device rings with a small sound volume when the surrounding is quiet and rings with a large sound volume when the surrounding is noisy, the case that a user can not hear the ringing because the surrounding is noisy and the case that the user is astonished by the large ringing when the surrounding is quiet are made not to be generated. |
