<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the expressing power of an image processor by using pressure to a drawing input means by providing tables for each pen, and interpolating those tables with pressure and generating a distribution. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with three pen tables 18-1 to 18-n, i.e., a pen table (index S) of high pressure such as the highest pressure, a pen table (index M) of intermediate pressure), and a pen table (index W) of low pressure such as the lowest pressure. A selector 20 selects only a necessary pen table according to the kind of a pen specified by an input processor. An interpolating processing part 22 selects two of the three pen tables 18-1 to 18-n regarding the specified pen and performs linear interpolation. For the purpose, patch size and the intensity of an input signal of the density distribution, etc., in a patch are varied by the pen tables 18-1 to 18-n and then line width and input density can be both varied freely with the pressure. Consequently, expressing power regarding pen pressure is increased.</p> |
