PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid-phase refrigerant from circulating back to a compressor by providing a moisture removing member for partitioning the inside of a tubular casing into a centrifugal separating section and an accumulating section. SOLUTION: A centrifugal separation accumulator Aa interposed between the evaporator and the compressor of a refrigeration cycle comprises a moisture removing member 57A for partitioning the inside of a tubular casing 50 into centrifugal separating sections 50a, 54b, 53b, 55 and an accumulating section 50b. When refrigerant is fed from the evaporator to the accumulator Aa, it is passed through an inlet 53a into the hollow tubular section of a easing member 50a. Depending on the centrifugal force, the refrigerant turns around a centrifugal pipe 55, as shown by an arrow R, along the circumferential wall 53. Subsequently, a liquid-phase refrigerant having high density and oil flow down gravitationally into a casing member 50b. Moisture is removed sufficiently from the liquid-phase refrigerant and the oil by means of the drying agent 57c of the moisture removing member 57A. The liquid-phase refrigerant, and he like, are accumulated in the casing member 50b under moisture-free state.
