PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spice composition having long-lasting comfortable cooling effect without providing bitterness, and useful for a chewing gum or the like by including specific amounts of each specified material with cool feeling, and a spice diluent. SOLUTION: This spice composition is usable for a composition selected from a topical product for a human and an animal, an oral care product, a nasal care product, toilet articles, a filter and a chip paper of a smoking tobacco product, a chewing tobacco product, a moist snuff tobacco product, a snuff product and a chewing gum, and contains 1-80 wt.%, preferably 5-50 wt.% material with cool feeling selected from a group of monomenthyl succinate, an alkali(ne earth) metal salt of the monomenthyl succinate, and a mixture thereof, 20-99 wt.%, preferably 50-95 wt.% spice-diluent containing one or more kinds of flavoring materials selected from a group of fruit flavor, a herb oil, a sweet syrup, a flavoring syrup and a flavoring oil. |
