<p>The spring clips (11-13) made longer than the core, are supported by longitudinal prismatic ribs (2-4) that are integrally provided in the core parallely to the rotor rotation axis (X). The clips interfere with the contiguous longitudinal edges of the cylinder segments to keep the cylindrical segments circumferentially spaced from each other. The rotor has a core (1) formed by a cylindrical stack of magnetic laminations, the cylinder segments (5-7) made of sintered magnetizable materials and positioned on the outer surface of the core, a cylindrical retaining wrapper (10) surrounding the cylinder segments, and at least a pair of end rings (8,9) joined to the end portions of the wrapper at the extremities of the core. An independent claim is also included for a rotor manufacture.</p> |
