A cell phone, wherein a cover body (2) having a display screen (21) provided on the inner surface (23) thereof is openably connected through a hinge (3) to a phone body (1) having an operating part (11) provided on the inner surface (13) thereof so as to be opened, in V-shape, in an axis (B)-(B) tilted relative to the longitudinal axis (A)-(A) of the phone body (1); or a cell phone, wherein, the cover body (2) having the display screen (21) and an ear piece (22) provided on the inner surface (23) thereof is openably hinged to the longitudinally rectangular phone body (1) having the operating part (11) and a mouth piece (12) provided on the inner surface (13) thereof in such states that both inner surfaces (13) and (23) are opposed to each other, can be opened and closed in the direction along the longitudinal axis (A)-(A) of the phone body (1) and in the axis (B)-(B) tilted relative to the longitudinal axis (A)-(A), and opened in the direction along the axis (A)-(A) to mainly perform a voice communication and opened in the axis (B)-(B) tilted relative to the axis (A)-(A) to mainly perform a character communication and an image communication.
