PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel operation system for power amplifier (PA) units that is adaptive to a plurality of use styles with one kind of power PA units, and can restart normal operations through easy manipulation as in a short period of time as possible even in the case of a fault of equipment, not to mention that an output drop and a wave failure are hardly caused even in the case of human misoperation. SOLUTION: A plurality of pieces of one kind of PA units 10, 20, 30 and 40 which have control circuits inside and are equipped with at least five contacts (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) are arrayed and arranged and the internal circuits determine whether the PA units 10, 20, 30 and 40 which are adjacently arranged are present and in operation from connection states of respective contacts (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) of the respective contacts (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the PA units 10, 20, 30 and 40 and also control the operation states according to the decision results.
