PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lock piece from being deformed or damaged by hitting other articles and from hurting a human body by being caught in it, without increasing the number of components when preventing dust from adhering to a contact part by a movable cover provided in a plug type connector. SOLUTION: A protrusion 13 equipped with contact parts 32 is protrusively provided in the base 10 of a casing 1, and a lock piece 40 is integrally molded with it by a synthetic resin. A movable cover 50 capable of moving back and forth between the protruded position covering the portion where the contact parts of the protrusion 13 are disposed and the retreated position in its back is mounted to the case 1, and a lock piece storage part 55 to store the lock piece 40 while covering the periphery of the lock piece 40 at the protruded position and to exposed the lock piece 40 at the retreated position is additionally formed in the movable cover 50.
