PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device capable of preventing a plug connected to a terminal from projecting from a body, and allowing attachment/detachment work of the plug to be safely and easily carried out, in an electric device provided with a terminal for connecting a detachable plug of a cable. SOLUTION: This electric device is provided with: an electric device body; a pane of the electric device body; the terminal for detachably connecting the plug of the cable; a terminal fixing part for fixing the terminal; a journalling means for rotatably journalling the terminal fixing part; a cover part for forming a curved part along an end where the terminal fixing part is rotated; a first fixing means for fixing the terminal fixing part to the panel at a position where the terminal project from the panel; a second fixing means for fixing the terminal fixing part to the panel at a position where the terminal is housed in the electric device body; and a pressing means for pressing the terminal fixing part from the position where the terminal is housed in the electric device body to the position where the terminal projects from the panel.
