PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out the attribute information on a written object at high speed while optimizing the attribute information on an unwritten part. SOLUTION: A host processing section 2 converts a code image data described with page writing language into an intermediate code image data. A developing section 4 converts the intermediate code image data into a bit map data which is developed sequentially in an intermediate code image managing section 5. An attribute information managing section 6 totalizes the object attribute information on a written object included in a band for every band. When an image converted into a bit map data is formed on a sheet by means of a printer engine 9, the developing section 4 controls the switching of screen in units of band based on the totalization results from the attribute information managing section 6. |
