<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispersing mangosteen to water not having harmful action on living bodies in order to solve problems in which pharmaceutical effective ingredient having bioactivity is mainly water-insoluble and solvents dissolving the pharmaceutical effective ingredient have bad influence on the living bodies, while if a surfactant is used in order to disperse mangosteen into water, a surfactant masks mangosteen and diminishes the bioactivity, though the present invention relates to solublization of mangosteen extract to water and applications to its antimicrobial products, cosmetics and medicines. <P>SOLUTION: The mangosteen preparation is finely emulsified product obtained by dispersing mangosteens into ≤40% ethyl alcohol aqueous solution and emulsifying mangosteens in an average particle diameter of ≤10 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
