<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high-reliability vehicle-installed power converter capable of effectively shielding heat and noise. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter comprises a main circuit 1 for power conversion including a switching device 1a a flywheel diode 1b, or the like; a control circuit 2 including low-power components such as an electronic component for generating a signal for controlling the switching device 1a; a housing 7 for housing the main circuit 1 and the control circuit 2; and a shielding member 8 provided to divide the housing 7 into a storage chamber for the main circuit 1 and a storage chamber for the control circuit 2. The shielding member 8 comprises a member capable of shielding heat generated by the main circuit 1, and a member capable of shielding electromagnetic noise generated by the main circuit 1, which are integrated and formed into a thin sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
