<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia content providing system and its method capable of safely supplying high quality multimedia content irrespective of data transfer rate of a network. <P>SOLUTION: The multimedia content providing system which is a order type multimedia content providing system, includes a content information operation module for displaying held information regarding contents to a user and transferring it by a user's request, an authentication module for performing authentication processing for browsing and user side module operation installed in a user system and for inspecting the data transfer rate with the user system of a user under connection, in which the content information operation module determines a transfer method of the requested contents and transfers the contents to the user who is authorized to have a legitimate authority by the authentication module according to the determined transfer system is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
