The joint has interlocking devices for horizontal and vertical interlocking, which are provided along leading edges of building parts (1, 2). The edges to be meshed are formed independent of eventual elasticity of materials with which the parts are made. An interlocking projection (4) formed by a separate spring unit has a flexible spring tongue, which deflects like elastic material when the parts are put together.
