<p>A method for automatically recovering firmware through version comparison and a recording medium storing a program using the same are provided to offer a routine for checking damage of the firmware installed to a specific module and automatically recovering the damaged firmware by using version information of the firmware. Before the firmware of the specific module is operated, the damage of the firmware is checked by extracting the version information of the firmware, reading the version information of recovery firmware stored in a storing part, and determining the damage in case that the version information of the firmware installed to the specific module is different from the version information of the recovery firmware(S405). In the case that the firmware is damaged, the recovery firmware is read from the storing part(S407). The read firmware is installed and successful installation is informed to a user if the installation is completed(S411).</p> |
