A power plant for a boat is provided to minimize economic burden by additionally purchasing the power plant through attachment and detachment of the power plant. A power plant for a boat includes a manual power unit(2), a power transmitting unit(3), and an output unit(4). The manual power unit includes a frame, first to fourth sprocket wheels, and planar tetragon-shaped articulated structure. The power transmitting unit includes first and second motion plates, a support bar, a clutch unit, a power transmission shaft, and an automatic power unit. The power transmitting unit receives power from the manual power unit or the automatic power unit. The output unit outputs the power received from the power transmitting unit. The output unit includes an expansion contraction type power shaft and an output shaft inside an expansion contraction case with a first power transmitting cross axle gear. A key is installed on an outer circumference of the expansion contraction case. |
