METHOD OF PROVIDING A MULTIMEDIA SERVICE BASED ON A QOS POLICY AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of providing a multimedia service based on a QoS policy and a system for performing thereof are provided to allocate the network resource for the MoIP(Multimedia over Internet Protocol) service by controlling QoS switch according to the QoS policy. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia service system based on the QoS(Quality of Service) policy comprises agent terminals(100,102), and the switch(104) and a switch control device(108). The agent terminal uses the specific multimedia service. The switch is connected to the agent terminal. The switch controls the traffic. According the preset QoS policy, the switch control device controls the switch. Therefore, the network resource is allocated for the multimedia service.
