The pad for an embossing device (1) is used in transferring an imaging coating from a carrier film to a sheet to be printed, to which and imaging an adhesive layer is applied. The carrier film with coating is guided past the sheet under pressure in a coating module (2). The coating and here's to the contact spots, and an image is created. The pad is provided on the press roll (3), with reducible adhesion to the transfer film (5).
