Braking device with eccentric assembly of a friction component

The braking device has an axis of rotation (10) through the body of rotation, a ring-shaped friction component, and another friction component which rubs at the former friction component for braking. The former friction component is arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation. The braking device is designed as permanent magnet-excited brake with an electrical coil and a permanent magnet.
