<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the source of a coreless toilet roll. <P>SOLUTION: When the coreless toilet roll is manufactured, a core is formed by mixing a chemical agent for identification which gives color reaction with at least one of light of a predetermined wavelength and a test reagent with an adhesive glue for forming a starting point of winding to be applied to a core shaft. The chemical agent for identification is previously made to differ according to the source of the toilet roll. After manufacture, at least one of the light of the predetermined wavelength and the test reagent corresponding to the chemical agent for identification is applied to a core part of the toilet roll for causing color reaction of the core part.
