<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding gasket that facilitates a mounting work to a flange etc. at low cost, and capable of effectively controlling breakage and deformation during mounting, and to provide a method of manufacturing the winding gasket conveniently. <P>SOLUTION: A winding gasket is provided which has a winding body formed by annually winding a plurality of string or plate shaped elastic seal members, and also a method is provided for manufacturing the winding gasket having the winding body.
