PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining material for existing tube renovation having strength properties similar to conventional lining materials for existing tube renovation, enhanced tensile breaking elongation and high earthquake resistance and a renovation method of an existing tube.SOLUTION: There are provided a lining material for existing tube renovation consisting of a tube lining material and a thermosetting furan resin composition impregnated into the tube lining material and containing a furan resin (A), a curing material (B) and a core shell type rubber polymer (C) and a renovation method of an existing tube by coating an inner wall of the existing tube by the lining material and including a process of impregnating the thermosetting furan resin composition into the tube lining material, a process of inserting the tube lining material into the existing tube and a process of curing the impregnated thermosetting furan resin composition with a condition to press the inserted tube lining material to the inner wall of the existing tube to cover the inner wall of the existing tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
