PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of further improving air-tightness and achieving longevity even under a severe environment.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 includes: a substrate 2, on which an LED 10, which is a light source, is mounted; and a lid body 3, for encapsulating the surrounding of the LED 10 between the substrate 2. A recess part 20 is formed on an upper surface 2A of the substrate 2. The lid body 3 is accommodated in the recess part 20.
